Ladies and Gentlemen, the times they are a-changing. The concept of the "album" is fast becoming antiquated. If bought in its entirety in the first place, it is quickly ripped, shuffled, and often times picked apart to free some more room for the new Kanye. It won't be too long until "songs" meet a similar fate. As the unbelievable mountain of information available becomes larger and larger, we're digesting information in smaller and smaller bites (bytes!) in order to take in as much as possible.

Our choices are to continue whining about how things used to be, or to adapt. Pants Pants Pants has chosen to adapt, which is why we'll be releasing ONE RINGTONE A WEEK, FOREVER.

Put more broadly, we will continue making short sonic alerts designed to initiate communication between interested parties, as long as said sonic alerts are a common method of communication initiation. Ideally, before our deaths, we will have organized a group to pursue this mission in perpetuity. From this day forth, the name Pants Pants Pants will be synonymous with "short sonic alerts designed to initiate communication between interested parties." It's a new form of songwriting challenge, one with no foreseeable end.

Each week we'll release a new ringtone, somewhere between 10-30 seconds long, for you to sample and, if you enjoy it, load onto your phone. Each release will consist of a post that will enable you to preview the ringtone, and download it or send it directly to your phone.

This is where we need your help though. There are many different phones, carriers, ringtone formats, etc out there. We want to be able to get these out to anyone who wants them, and want to help people actually get them on their phones. So let us know what issues you're having with our current set up, and we'll try to adapt.

With your help, we'll soon have a system worked out to easily get these ringtones out to whomever wants them, regardless of phone, carrier, etc. We're doing this forever, so we might as well get that part down.

This will be an epic and NEVERENDING journey. We hope you'll join us for it.

See below for specific notes on our different methods of "ringtone delivery. This section will be periodically updated below as we work out the kinks, predominantly with the texting feature, and possibly add more formats if the demand is there. Please send us your feedback at pants3x AT gmail.com.

- Note the "link only" option for some carriers. This will just send you a download link, but not an attached mp3. For people whose phone will not receive messages with attachments but can download from their phone.

- AT&T and T-Mobile phones seem to be working fine (provided your phone can accept an mp3 attachment). Let us know if it does not.

- Verizon phones will take a bit longer to receive the mp3. We're hoping to fix this, but for now be patient and don't submit your number over and over again.
